We are pleased to announce that AzAA Legislative Day at the Arizona State Capitol will be the morning of Monday, January 29, 2024.

Please note that this year we are not hosting our traditional “AzAA Aviation Day” with a tent and food, but rather focusing on the opportunity to provide direct connections with legislators inside the house and senate office buildings. There will also be a declaration read in the Senate for the occasion.

If you (or your community) are interested in participating in the AzAA Legislative Day and meeting your local legislators, please RSVP here.

The week before AzAA Legislative Day, we will provide you with a “cheat sheet” of statewide system talking points to help you get the conversations started with your legislator. You are responsible for your own airport-specific talking points.  You are also welcome to bring with you members of your airport community or organization. 

We will send out a Zoom meeting invitation to go over our talking points and help you feel a little more confident and comfortable going into your meeting.

Please note: Meetings aren’t guaranteed. In some cases legislators may not be available, and sometimes you will have a meeting scheduled and a legislator will get called away at the last moment.
