The Arizona Airports Association (AzAA) was formed in 1979 to bring together the representatives of public and private airports and others interested in the general benefit of aviation to provide information, expertise and support to all those in the State's aviation industry. Further, the Association works to foster public recognition of airports and the airport executive profession, and to assist in the future development of air transportation in Arizona.
Membership is open to Airport Managers, Sponsors, and other aviation-related organizations including public and private corporations who are engaged in activities relating to the use and promotion of airports or aviation. Student membership is offered to full-time students who are engaged in the study of airport development, administration, management, and operation or in any related field of aviation, and who has been sponsored for membership by a current member in any classification.
AzAA offers assistance and support to its members through educational seminars, public outreach events and regular meetings. Members also enjoy a forum in which to share information. Throughout its history, AzAA has been successful in educating and representing the aviation needs of its members.
EXECUTIVE membership shall be open to persons exercising active responsibility for the management, general supervision or administration of an Arizona Airport, and who is engaged in such activity as a gainful occupation and who devotes at least fifty percent (50%) of his or her daily working hours in matters that directly relate to the management of an airport. $95.00 Annually.
ASSOCIATE membership shall be open to any individual or organization who is interested in and subscribes to the purpose of the Arizona Airports Association. $95.00 Annually.
CORPORATE membership shall be open to either public or private corporations who are engaged in activities relating to the use and promotion of airports or aviation or of products which are used in airport and aviation activities. Only one corporate membership is permitted per corporation. $150.00 Annually.
STUDENT membership shall be open to any individuals who are engaged in the study of airport development, administration, management, and operation or in any related field of aviation (but who are not representing a school). Students who have graduated but are not employed (part or full time) in the Arizona aviation industry may qualify for a student membership up to two years after graduation. $20.00 Annually.
HONORARY membership shall only be designated by action of the Board of Directors and the AzAA membership for those individuals specifically selected as a result of their outstanding dedication and achievement in the field of airport development, management, operations or any related field of aviation.
EXECUTIVE EMERITUS membership shall be open to those Executive members who have retired from gainful employment and who are selected for Executive Emeritus status by the Board of Directors after the individual submits an application.
EX-OFFICIO membership is granted by the Board of Directors to individuals who represent other aviation organizations such as FAA, ADOT, SWAAAE Chapter President.

COMPANY RECOGNITION Corporate membership includes your company's logo displayed on the AzAA homepage as well as a listing in the Corporate member list and access to an exclusive Corporate Member Meeting each spring.
NETWORKING AND OUTREACH AzAA offers opportunities for members to serve on technical and planning committees. Members are also invited to participate in networking events throughout the year during conferences and virtually.
